St. Mary’s Grief Support Program offers two programs for children and teens:
- Kids Can Cope, sponsored jointly with St. Luke’s Hospital, helps young people ages 8-16 who have a parent, grandparent, sibling, relative or friend with cancer or another serious medical condition. The next four-week program begins March 9. It’s free.

- Young Person’s Grief Support Program is for children and adolescents as they deal with death of a significant person in their lives. During this free six-week program children receive professional guidance and talk with others in similar situations.Children are divided by ages and groups are limited to eight kids.
The next session for ages 5-8 meets from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursdays beginning Jan. 14, 2010. Nine- to 13-year-olds meet from 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Jan. 12. Older teens (ages 14-17) meet from 3:30-5 p.m. Mondays beginning Jan. 11.
