Duluth Clinic Fellowship
The Duluth Clinic offers a 1-year fellowship for Family Medicine physicians who desire
advanced training in Obstetrics and Procedural medicine subsequent to medical practice in rural locations.
- Four months of training is dedicated to management of routine and high-risk obstetrics, developing competence in operative deliveries and Cesarean section, and expanding skills in ultrasound, newborn resuscitation/stabilization, and colposcopy.
- Curriculum consists of 16 weeks obstetrics, 14 weeks outpatient primary care, 9 weeks emergency medicine/trauma and 9 weeks of electives.
- Fellow will also participate in education of University of Minnesota medical students and Duluth Family Medicine residents.
- 1 position offered
- Annual stipend: $55,000 plus benefits
PREREQUISITES FOR ACCEPTANCE
- MD/DO degree from LCME-accredited medical schools in U.S. or Canada
- Completion of a 3-year ACGME or AOA accredited family medicine residency
- Board certified or board eligible
- Minnesota medical license
- DEA certificate
- No H-1 or J-1 visas
